We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile QA Tester to join our team. As a Mobile QA Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile applications before they are released to the public. You will collaborate closely with our development team to identify, report, and verify issues, ensuring that our mobile apps provide an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough testing of mobile applications across various platforms (iOS and Android) to identify defects, usability issues, and performance problems.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans for mobile applications.
- Verify bug fixes and new features to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Identify, isolate, and report defects using bug tracking tools, clearly documenting steps to reproduce and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and clarify any ambiguities related to features and functionality.
- Participate in requirements and design discussions to provide input from a testing perspective and to ensure testability of features.
- Perform compatibility testing across different devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance overall product quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mobile testing and technology.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in Mobile testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in mobile application testing, with a focus on iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, testing tools, and bug tracking systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically and creatively to identify potential issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in understanding and interpreting technical specifications, requirements, and design documents.
- Knowledge of mobile app development processes and lifecycles.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages is a plus.
