We are currently searching for a new, full-time member for our team for the position of:
Release Coordinator / Change Manager (Journeyman)
Active Secret DoD Clearance Required - NO EXCEPTIONS!
Remote Position - MUST live in the DMV Metro Area!
Coordinates with various teams involved in software development, such as development, testing, and operations teams, to ensure that all aspects of the release process are properly coordinated and executed for any changes to Pipeline infrastructure and or hosting services
Ensures that all necessary approvals, signoffs, and quality checks have been completed before deploying the release to production- Ensures that the appropriate version control and release management tools are used to manage the release process and track the deployment of software releases
- Works with stakeholders to schedule and plan Pipeline and hosting infrastructure releases, considering business priorities, resource availability, and the impact on end-users
- Manages the communication of the release schedule and updates to all relevant parties, including business owners, stakeholders, and end-users
- Coordinates with support teams to ensure that they are prepared to handle any issues or incidents that may arise during or after the release
- Continuously monitors the release process and identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall release quality of Pipeline for hosting infrastructure releases
