Manager Occupational Health & Safety (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:
- Act as subject matter expert for Occupational Health and Safety, ensuring development, continuous improvement and implementation of OHS procedures, processes, and best practices
- Ensure and maintain compliance with applicable Italian regulations
- Undertake ship visits to follow up on accidents, near misses, investigations, and workplace risk assessments
- Execute review and proper management of accident reports and support in the preparation of accident and incident statistics
- Work with the Occupational Health and Safety team to identify opportunities to improve safety culture and support the safety program
Your Profile:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in the field of Occupational Health and Safety or Officer’s license in the maritime field (minimum certification II/1)
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in the area of Marine safety or the Maritime sector
- Business Fluent English (C1), knowledge of the Italian language would be advantageous but is not a must
- Profound knowledge of the OHS management system (ISO 45001) and Microsoft Office applications
- Analytical skills, creative thinking and problem solving
