- Permanent role, part time 0.6 (24 hours per week), Monday to Friday, based in Greenlane Clinical Centre.
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We invite you to join the Kari Centre, an exciting and dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health outpatient service that provides assessment and therapy to children, young people, and their families within the central Auckland area.
Koanga Tupu is a small team within the Kari Centre specialising in the assessment and treatment of infants (0-4). The team works from a strong attachment framework and all assessment and treatment occurs within a relational (usually dyadic) framework - requiring specific understanding of both infant and adult clinical issues and needs. Prior experience and/or knowledge of these areas is desired but the team is very supportive and would ensure that mentoring and support would be available.
As a member of the team, your role will involve working both individually and collaboratively with other professionals to deliver high-quality assessment, formulation and goal-based therapeutic interventions to infants, and their whānau. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that whānau are actively involved in their care and decision-making processes, working towards their identified goals, and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.

- To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced registered Social Worker/Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Nurse / Psychotherapists or Clinical Psychologist with a current NZ Registration and practicing certificate.
- Our ideal candidate will also have previous experience working with children and Youth within a mental health setting, work well as part of a team and under pressure.
- As this is a community role, a full and clean driver’s licence is required.
