Job Responsibilities

  • Handle restaurant and bakery sales at the Alley Restaurant counter and takeout window.
  • Keep track of the contents and accuracy of the cash drawer.
  • Take calls and reservations over the phone, and be ready to answer any questions guests may have.
  • Keep the Front Counter and surrounding area sanitary, clean and presentable.
  • Deliver orders promptly and with a smile!

Personal Skills

  • Comfortable with multitasking and able to stay calm under stressful/unusual circumstances.
  • Strong delegation skills.
  • Friendly and happy to interact with customers.
  • Honest and trustworthy nature.
  • Able to take responsibility for handling money.
  • Able to work most or all of a shift standing up.
  • Able to lift 35 lbs.
  • Able to learn and use effectively the computer POS system/cash register.
  • Comfortable with basic arithmetic.

Pay

  • Minimum $12.00 per hour with opportunity for growth + tips!

Available Shifts

  • Restaurant Cashier – Morning Shift (9am-3pm)
  • Restaurant Cashier – Night Shift (3pm-10pm)

Education and Experience

  • High Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Basic Math Skills & Problem Solving: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Cash Handling & Customer Service experience: 1 year (Preferred)
